Class Syllabus

Course Overview

The members of this senior project will work together to build an autonomous ground vehicle.  They will design their team robot and participate in three class competitions: autonomously navigate a course, navigate a local field to find a particular point, and the design documents of their robots.  At the end of this course, students will build one or two robots to compete in the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition held in Michigan.

Final grades are determined as follow:

A  : >= 90.0                 A- : 85.0 ~ 89.9
B+ : 80.0 ~ 84.9             B  : 75.0 ~ 79.9   
B- : 70.0 ~ 74.9             E  : < 70.0

Participation (20%): class discussion & assigned project
Competitions (60%): team scores
Report (20%): team final report and software
Class & Instructor Evaluation (5%): online evaluation
