Spring 2008 Meeting Information

The next Northeast Area Meeting will be held on 26 April 2008 in Pocatello, Idaho, at Idaho State University and hosted by the Eastern Idaho Section.

Hotel Information

A block of rooms set aside at the Best Western Cottontree Inn for Friday, 25 April 2008, and Satruday 26 April 2008 (for those who need it). To make reservations, call (208) 237-7650 and tell the hotel you are with "IEEE." The guaranteed room rate is $60.00/night (single occupancy). The cut-off date for making reservations and receiving this rate is 24 April 2008.

Meeting Locations

Friday Evening Meeting

A Section's Congress Preparation Meeting will be held Friday evening (25 April 2008) from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Gene and Linda Stuffle's home. A BBQ dinner will be provided. Directions to the Stuffle home will be emailed to you.

Those who should attend this meeting are all Section Chairs and Area Officers. The purpose of this meeting is to generate recommendation for the 2008 Section's Congress to be held in September 2008.

Saturday Meeting

The Student Paper Contest and Micromouse Contest will be held at the ISU Rendezvous Suite (first floor of the Rendezvous Center, near the northwest corner) beginning at 9:00 AM. See the ISU Maps and Directions Page for directions to campus and for the location of the Rendezvous Center. The opening Session and Student Paper Contest will be held in Rooms B and C. The Micromouse Contest will be held in Room A.
